Single storey building, originally open-fronted but latterly with a modern block wall onto the yard. Inside were spaces for eight cows, four along each side wall with modern feeders. Now converted.

A survey of the buildings at Charlestown Barton in 2003 prior to development. A milking parlour on the south side of the yard was originally an open fronted single storey building of stone rubble.
