Site of four small rectangular ponds & a larger settling pond are shown on 1867 map at Wheal Anna Maria mine. Twelve small tanks or drying frames with a building to the south are shown to the northeast. The building was probably a 'jigger house' powered by flat rods from Wheal Anna Maria Engine Shaft (see PRN 51099). The survey found the ponds with 1.8m high banks with more ponds added to the north. A long rectangular earthwork cutting & platform marked the site of the small tanks & the building. Other details: Sites 117 & 117/1.
