Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 137, Figs 16,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

A line of lode back pits running south to north from SX42317264 to SX42287279 following the Cross-course shown on the 1848 map from Wheal Frementor to Wheal Maria. An alignment of prospecting pits to the east running west to east from SX42387269 to SX42517271 sited on the lode outcrop parallel to the South Fanny Lode. The survey in 2002 found the small pits c2.5m long x 1m wide x up to 1.2m deep. Other details: Sites 190.
