Full description
Jenkinson, T., 2005 - 2011, B3416/B3212/B3344/Old A38 Exeter to Plymouth (Report - Survey). SDV322256.
Site visit 20th May 2004. Cast iron finger post located behind a hedge at the junction of two minor roads in Kennford, on the route of the old A38. The post, dated circa 1920-1940, has black letters on a white background which read 'A38/Exeter 4/' on the left arm and 'Chudleigh 6/Torquay 19/Plymouth 39/A38' on the right arm. The sign was repainted in 2004.
