Dobinson, C. S., 1996, Bombing decoys of WWII (Report - non-specific). SDV324125.

Site of Clyst St Mary Q/QF Bombing decoy for RAF Exeter. 'Q' Site used as a dummy aerodrome with flarepath lighting to simulate activity of a real airfield up to November 1942. From November 1942 site used as 'QF' with diversionary fires to simulate damage from incendiary bombing. Parent site and control post at RAF Exeter.

On 12 Aug 1942 used as 'Q' site, by 22 Nov 1942 site had been converted to 'QF'.
