The drainage ditches are visible as an extensive complex of earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken from 1945 onwards. Although some earthworks survive the system is visible much more clearly and completely on sorties from the 1940s and 1950s. The ditches have not been transcribed, but the most useful sorties for interpretation within the project area have been referenced.
