Buck, C., 2006, New Quay: Archaeological Assessment, 27 (Report - Assessment). SDV336511.

Building (Site 20) shown on the 1817 map & shown on the 1867 map as six cottages with rear toilets/outhouses. The survey in 2006 found evidence of surviving masonry although the site was inaccessible due to flooding & dense undergrowth. Other details: Figs 7, 9, 23.

At the time of the survey, these buildings are in an extremely poor and ruinous state. Most of the collapse of the walls has fallen into the buildings and it is difficult to carry out any measured drawings that would provide any evidence of their former state. Any attempt to clear the buildings would be a major undertaking.
