The survey map of 1867 shows at least three large & two small buildings at Impham Quay (Site 34). The buildings may have dated from the 18th century or were built in 1862 as walled compounds for the granite awaiting export by barge (see PRN 70478). The buildings do not appear on later maps. The survey in 2005 found the site of the buildings had been levelled & remnants of the masonry walls of the western building were visble. The north wall was 8 meters long x 2. 6 meters high & the west wall wall c10 meters long x 1.1 meters high. Other details: Figs 6 & 8.
