Full description
Buck, C., 2005, Wheal Russell Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 40 (Report - Assessment). SDV336659.
Site of a possible shaft or costean pit (Site 44) found during the survey in 2005 but not shown on the historic maps. The opening was 2 meters in diameter & choked with mine waste at c1.6 meters depth. There were no surface signs to suggest the function of the feature.
