Full description
Griffith, F. M., 1984, DAP/BK, 3A (Aerial Photograph). SDV337652.
Series of interconnected linear & rectilinear features shown on aerial photograph probably signifying former field boundaries.
Exeter Archaeology, 2006, Archaeological assessment of a proposed college site to the east of Exhibition Road, Crediton, 5 (Report - Assessment). SDV337881.
Two banks & associated ditches aligned north to south appeared to relate to earlier boundaries shown on Norden's map of 1598. A third bank & dtich aligned east to west at SS84780073 may be associated with a trackway over the river & shown on the 1890 map. A network of other ditches were interpreted as the remains of an irrigation system for water meadows. Other details: Figs 3 & 6.
