Full description
Jenkinson, T., 2004 - 2011, A382 Newton Abbot to Whiddon Down (Report - Survey). SDV338864.
Site visit 3rd November 2003. Milestone located just off the A382, in Jetty Marsh Road, 30 metres down from Churchills roundabout, on a grass verge. Granite with marble plaque. The left hand face bears the legend 'Torquay/7 Miles, Teignmouth/7 Miles and the right hand face 'Ashburton/7 Miles, Bovey Tracey/6 Miles'. In good condition. Modern milestone dating from circa 2000.
Site visit 1st August 2011. Becoming dirty over time.
