Pair of chest tombs in the southwest corner of churchyard at St John the Baptist parish church in Bishopsteignton. Pair of chest tombs. Early 19th century. Freestone. The eastern tomb has a panelled chest with corner pilasters and an oversailing lid. Inscription commemorates Edward Meadows, died 1815, (former railings no longer exist). One metre to the north west a second chest is panelled with a moulded plinth and corner pilasters. Illegible inscription on lid. Other details: LBS No 85686.
