Full description

Small square building shown on 19th century map at Hareston.

The stables at Hareston is the only surviving building from the historic farmstead. The compact 18th century two storey building is constructed of coursed rubble under a half-hipped slate roof. The east end is set into a bank with a pitching door at first floor level. There is a small doorway and window in the long elevation. Other details: Plate 14.
