Full description

Churchyard gate-piers and gates to the south of St Mary's parish church in Diptford. Mid 19th century pair of gate-piers with a pair of gates to the churchyard. Pair of dressed slate gate-piers, square on plan with granite pyramidal caps and a probably later overthrow supporting a lamp. The mid 19th century moulded cast iron pair of gates have a quatrefoiled mid-rail and intersecting cusped tracery under the top rail with cresting above. Other details: LBS Number 101152.
