Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The structure would appear to be aligned on the 'Brightly Weir' shown on the 19th century map.

Wooden structure exposed by the River Taw to the northwest of Weirmarsh Farm. The feature could be the remains of a fish weir, the remains of a culvert or an old trackway or jetty on the edge of the river. Other details: Photographs attached.
