The earlier 2 storey northen portion is of rubble stone construction with a slate roof, and has recently been truncated. It has a single large opening at ground floor level in the north west elevation, and contains no brick. The present north end of the north-west wall was formerly the right hand jamb of an opening. There is 1 remaining roof truss with bolted joints. The north-east wall at the north end contains a small 4-light window and a blocked door. There is not enough of this building remaining to give a definite idea of the original function. Other details: Figures 1 + 2, plates 3 + 4.
