Full description

Department of National Heritage, 19/04/1993, Bideford, 72 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV338459.

House. Early or mid 19th century. Solid rendered front. Roof not visible from street. Two rendered chimneys on left side-wall. Three storeys; 2-window range. Ground storey has canted bay window to left; plain sashes, entablature round the top with flat leaded roof. Doorway to right with small flat moulded hood, the underside partly reeded. Deeply recessed 6-panelled door (2 lowest panels flush, 4 upper panels now glazed) with old letterbox, approached by flight of 4 worn stone steps. Windows in upper storeys have 6-paned sashes, except that the third-storey upper sashes have only 3 panes.
