Full description

The earthwork remains of Medieval strip lynchets are visible in a field west of Cross Gate, Brayford. The lynchets are similar to those seen around Challacombe, but less well preserved. Lydcott Farm and Hall to the north are believed to date to the Medieval period, and may be associated with the lynchets. Other details: Monument Number 1488922.
