A roughly oval mound circa 8 by 11m across is identifiable as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 at circa SX57235972 on the south-west facing slopes of Crownhill Down, overlooking Old Bottle Hill leat. The mound was clearly visible on images derived from aerial photographs of 2007 and remains visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthwork is interpreted as a slightly mutilated barrow of Bronze Age date.
