'Pound Farm' marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, comprising ranges of buildings around four sides of a yard with additional buildings immediately to the south adjacent to the road and orchards to the east. Map object based on this Source.

Keystone Historic Buildings Consultants, 1991, Barn and Link Block at Pound Farm, Luppitt, 8-13 (Report - Survey). SDV343936.

Documentary history of Pound Farm given. The farm is thought to have been newly built circa 1670-1690. The quality of the building materials used in the construction of the early 18th century link block suggest the reuse of material perhaps salvaged from Mohuns Ottery which was sold off at this time.

Clements, H. A., 1994, Survey of Farmsteads in the Devon Part of the Blackdown Hills (Report - Survey). SDV344050.

Annotated plan shws the farmhouse and garden on the south-west side of the yard with a17th century barn and outhouse adjoining on the south-east side. On the north-west side of the yard is a 19th century stable block. The stables are considered vulnerable, the barn and outhouse at risk (B.A.R. 2.2.4, 2.0.3).
