An earthen hedge bank, up to 2.4 metres wide and 0.96 metres high, extending circa 18 metres east from the centre of the north-south hedge bank, then curving to the south to form a long narrow plot extending towards Calf Street. Evidence of late post-medieval and modern maintenance was present at intervals and along much of the eastern and northern (outer) face were remnants of a coursed stone and slate revetment. Pottery of post-medieval date was recovered from the primary core and colluvium. This bank is thought to be a later addition, to form a smaller enclosure, and a later medieval or early post-medieval date would seem likely.
