Visited 14th December 2001. Milestone approximately 300 metres east of Umberleigh House, in hedge on grass verge, on south side of road. Legend "7/Barum/". Worn, with no paint residues and moss on top, with a line down the face. There is an Ordnance Survey benchmark below the legend, and it is very close to the road edge. Circa 1879.
