Steinmetzer, M., 2008, Archaeological Excavation at Four Ways Cross, Willand, Devon 2007 (Phase 1) Post-Excavation Assessment Report and Updated Project Design, 4 (Report - Excavation). SDV344611.

Narrow gully revealed during excavations on land to the north-west of Four Cross Ways. This extended for about 110 metres from the eastern edge of the site, during which it converged with and cut the eastern segment of the earliest enclosure ditch, ran parallel to the central segment on the south side, before turning sharply to the north-west as if respecting the north-west to south-east aligned ditch. Another section of gully extended on the same alignment on the west side of the ditch. This feature was approximately 0.7 metres wide and 0.25 metres deep, and no dating material was recovered.
