Full description
Sheldon, L., 2010, Land Around Pinn Court Farm, Pinhoe, Devon. Archaeological Evaluation (Report - Evaluation). SDV347870.
An undated east-west aligned ditch was located towards the centre of trench 75. It contained a single fill, had steeply sloping sides and a concave base. This feature coincides with an anomaly depicted by the geophysical survey, and is likely to represent a continuation of the ditch excavated to the west in trench 70.

Curvilinear anomaly pattern, identified by geophysical survey to the south of Pin Court Farm, likely to represent a possible enclosure boundary. Other details: Figure 2, site 36; figure 7.

Ditch 6006 intersected with or terminated within the south-western quadrant of ring ditch 6046 (MDV152523), although the stratigraphic relationship could not be determined due to the similarity of their fills. The ditch followed a north-south alignment for approximately 17m before turning to the south-east and terminating after a further 20m. It was 0.9m wide and up to 0.5m deep with moderately sloping sides and a concave base. Twenty-eight pieces of worked flint were recovered from this feature.
