Full description
Sheldon, L., 2010, Land Around Pinn Court Farm, Pinhoe, Devon. Archaeological Evaluation (Report - Evaluation). SDV347870.
A group of pits were recorded during an evaluation undertaken prior to a planning application submission for a proposed residential development of the site.
The finds recovered from the ditches include three sherds of 18th to 19th century pottery, fragments of slate and a single fragment of clay tobacco pipe stem. The pits may represent sand extraction.
