One of a number of small quarries distributed across the mine, usually the result of needing stone for the erection of buildings. The back wall of this quarry is steep and approximately 5 metres high, 10 metres wide and the floor approximately 7 metres in depth. The sides appear to be stable, with spoil heaps south-west of the quarry face. Other details: Figure 36, site 26.1.
