Building associated with an artificial 'waterfall' created by taking water from the leat. A building is shown close to this site on the 1867 Bedford Estates map, however it may be associated with the incline tramway from Pearce's Shaft to the upper dressing floor. The map shows the leat going around and west of the building. This feature is relatively well preserved. Other details: Figure 36, site 23.

The Waterfall Building is located on the lower Arsenic Flue (Site No 27) at the point at which it starts going up the hill, and presumably enabled leat water to flow over the flue. It was recommended in 2006 that trees and vegetation were removed from the exterior surface of the building to ensure long term preservation. Due to the challenging topography and ground covering vegetation the Waterfall Building was not visited or located. However, the landowner confirmed that its condition was unchanged since the 2006 survey, with no obvious structural failures or weaknesses. It is thought to be in good condition. Furthermore, it is a unique element of the Site, located on the lower Arsenic Flue. On this basis it is assessed to have high significance relative to other feature and structures on the Site. As in 2006, it is recommended that vegetation is cleared from the structure. Other details: Site No. 23.
