The collapsed ruins of the stable remain on the east end of the farmhouse. It was built of local stone rubble and contained patches of late 19th to early 20th century red brick. The rear southern wall revets a bank in the garden and it stands nearly to the loft level. The other walls have collapsed to a much lower level and some are covered with fallen rubble. There appear to have been two rooms, the main stable was next to the farmhouse, while the smaller to the east was probably a tack room. The date of the stable is uncertain, but was probably 18th or early 19th century, as it is shown on the 1844 Tithe Map. Other details: Plate 21.
