'Old Quarry' marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. This is the middle of a line of three features, now all ponds, and it is possible that all are former quarry sites.

The quarry is now one of a line of three ponds shown on current mapping to the west of Rutleigh Ball Farm.
