Full description

Best, J., 2007, Archaeological Evaluation of Proposed South West Water Sewage Treatment Works Near Clyst Honiton, Devon, 3-4, 12 (Report - Evaluation). SDV345022.

A ditch 2.5 metres wide and 0.45 metres deep, with moderately sloping sides and a concave base, was observed in trench 3. Two sherds of pottery of 17th - 18th century date was recovered from the fill, which suggests this feature formed part of the post-medieval field system. Other details: Figures 2, 9-10.
