Francis, P., 1999, Exeter Airport. Historic Airport Survey for Devon County Council & East Devon District Council, 92 (Report - non-specific). SDV323390.

Robin Hangar. A small end-opening (one end only) Ministry of Aircraft Production storage shed, often erected as a dispersed hangar. Construction is a series of standard steel-framed "A" frames spaced at 12 foot 6 inch centres, which form a standard length shed of 5 bays. Steep pitch roof trusses and "A" frames are clad with corrugated iron. Doors in four leaves open full width along projecting door guides supported by outriggers.
Clear height 14 feet, clear span 44 fee, clear length 62 foot 6 inches. In fair condition.
This example is not shown on the 1944 Air Ministry site plan, but is shown on the 1947 Royal Air Force aerial photography. Other details: Site 95; Map 9.
