Barrack but for 12 airmen. Built for the army units (later the RAF Regiment) engaged in ground defence duties. This is Exeter Airfield's only survivng 16 foot span Nissen hut, but is a mere ruin of its former self. The end walls have gone, and the curved framework is now distorted. Other details: Site 178; Map 10.
Ordnance Survey, 2010, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV344030.
