EVANS, 1947-1949, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV295245.

Church haye. According to charles worth (ashburton and its neighbourhood, 1875) the greater or fore chamber of the church-house at woodland was given by william culling by will dated 9th. July, 1722, for parish use. Inventory of parish goods made on the 13th. May, 1576 (noted by rev. H. R. Evans, woodland, tda/92 (1960)177) included "one ieron bar in the churchhouse chymley" (1963). A small modern village school, of the 19th. Century now occupies the site of the church-house (1964) (copeland). According to the records of the charity commissioners of 1818 the house was then in private ownership (pearson). No additional information (evans, 1947-1949).
