Description of terraced formal gardens immediately to the south-west of Follaton House. To the north and west of the house are extensive speciment trees and shrubberies. The removal of the flanking terraces to the lower terrace and the non-alignment of the formal garden with the present house, which is of 19th century date, is suggestive of an earlier house on the site.
