A overshot waterwheel powered from a series of ponds survived until 1994 when it was demolished. Other details: Copy of page in Parish File.

An overshot waterwheel was installed in the 19th century, possibly when the farm was modernised, an advert asking for tenders for the construction of a farmhouse and outbuildings at Kytton Barton appeared in the Tiverton Gazette in 1858. The wheel was demolised in 1994.
