Berry, N., 2006, Archaeological and Historic Landscape Survey of Wembury Point and The Mewstone, Wembury, Devon (Report - Survey). SDV345992.

Terraced platform for loading or unloading, or possibly for a building now demolished, set on the north side of Marine Drive just 60 metres below the main gate to HMS Cambridge. The platform is set above the road and is approximately 11 metres north-east to south-west by 5 metres north-west to south-east. The retaining wall on three sides is overgrown with ivy, but is approximately 1.4 metres high (max) on the south-east side. It is possible that a small building is shown in this location on the 1993 aerial photograph. Function unknown. Other details: Map; site inventory no. 061.
