Full description
Berry, N., 2006, Archaeological and Historic Landscape Survey of Wembury Point and The Mewstone, Wembury, Devon (Report - Survey). SDV345992.
Concrete boundary post about 0.7 metres high by 0.2 metres thick, by 0.3 metres wide. The post is set beside the South West Coast Path on the west side of Wembury Point, above Heybrook Bay. On the north-west face of the post is an imprinted anchor and rope, with the post number 40 imprinted above. This was the external face, the internal face is plain. These boundary posts probably relate to World War II development or immediately after. Other details: Map; site inventory no. 65. Map object based on this Source.
