The Cricket Pavilion is a good example of a building of this type dating from 1906 and considered a local landmark. It was given by a successful local businessman of the time, Mr Arthur Hitchcock, who also bought the playing field. Other details: Maps. Map object based on this Source.

Prior to 1910 a wooden cricket pavilion was constructed which has just been replaced , as unfortunately despite much character it had become outdated. In 2006 a completely new pavilion was constructed.
