Full description

Fore Street contains a mixture of shops, inns and houses of up to three storeys with painted render and slate predominating. Other details: Maps, photograph.

Late 18th/early 19th century two storey rough cast cottages. Gable end slate roofs. Two windows each symmetrical to entrances. The Cherry Tree Cafe has 2 and 3-light 19th century wood casement. Cherry Tree Cottage has sash windows, glazing bars intact. Recessed doors of 4 flush panels. Good brass knockers. Forge Cottage and Premises occupied by Lloyd Pike and Son, Nos 27 and 28, Sidehaven, Cherry Tree Cottage and Cherry Tree Cafe form a group.
