Full description

A steep dip to the west of High Street is created by the Gissage Brook. Buildings form tight, mainly two storey, frontages of modest proportions. A number of buildings are referred to in the statutory list by virtue of their group value, the character of which is important. Numbers 229-239 (odd) are regarded as forming a particularly cohesive group, and 233 to 237 (odd) are on the Local List. Maps.
