New Street is a secondary commercial street, with modestly proportioned two storey buildings. There are several good bay window frontages, however among the pleasant original frontages and shopfronts are instances where plastic fascia and over-dominant lettering are evident. Numbers 28-34 (even) New Street are on the Local List. Maps.
