Gable- ended farmhouse, with a four- window front and a doorway slightly right of centre. Rendered; Rubble stone walls. Roof with Roman tiles.

Higher Farway Farmhouse. Circa 16th century. Roughcast stone. Tiled roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Four window range. Modern metal frame casements. Doorway to right of centre with heavy rustication and keystone. Roughcast chimney stacks at gable end and ridge with moulded concrete caps.
Interior: stopped chamfer ceiling beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressummer and stone jambs. Jointed cruck trusses.
