Summary
One of seven hut circles on south Yartor Down, around 450 meters north of the River Dart. Part of the Dartmeet parallel reave system, these huts are associated with fields and enclosures which have been overlaid by later boundaries. This hut measures approximately 6.0 metres in diameter.

Full description

This hut is one of a pair within this strip which measures 5.8 meters in diameter and has had many slabs removed from its walls. Its partner (PRN 79816) downhill, is rather better preserved. Other details: Map 13, 2.

Hut circle at SX67807265. This hut circle is a mainly turf-covered earthwork with some elements of internal and external rings of edge set orthostats surviving. The interior is level and there is no definable entrance. Internal diameter 6.0 metres, walls 1.4 metres thick and 0.6 metres high and is situated near a boundary wall.
