Ashburton - St Lawrence Lane (east side) Nos.1 and 3 - GV II
House, now with shop. May have been designed as a pair of houses. Early 19th century. Solid rendered walls; right side wall of stone rubble. Slated roof. Stone rubble chimney on right gable end. Three storeys, two windows wide. Ground storey has two half-glazed doors, each with a window to right. No 1 has a wide late 20th century window; No 3, along with all the upper storey windows, has 6-paned sashes in recessed box frames. Deeply projecting eaves-cornice.
