Double banked earthwork running north-east to south-west across the field visible on Royal Air Force aerial photograph. The distance between the outside edges of the banks is circa 13 metres. The feature also shows clearly on the 1999-2000 aerial photograph but only the southernmost circa 170 metres is visible on the 2006-2007 aerial photograph. It is not shown on the 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map nor on the 1904-1906 map. The earthwork is possibly a trackway associated with the construction of the railway. Earthworks visible in the adjacent field to the north-west on the 1999-2000 photograph may also be to do with the railway construction.
