Full description
Manning, P. T., 2003, Archaeological Evaluation of a Proposed Golf Course Site, Exminster, Devon (Report - Evaluation). SDV336102.
A small linear feature 0.1 metre wide and 0.5 metres deep, with a 'U'-profile, was exposed for a distance of 0.7 metres extending westward from the easten section of the trench, cutting the fill (501) of ditch 500 before petering out. This feature was possibly an animal burrow, although the regularity of the profile may suggest that it was man-made. Map object based on this Source.
