A curvilinear bank, aligned approximately north-east to south-west and roughly 3 metres in width is visible an an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It is overlain by modern narrow ridge and furrow and is not depicted on the 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey mapping, suggesting that it pre-dates the late nineteenth century, and its curvilinear form suggests a medieval origin. It is not seen on later aerial photographs available to the survey, although these are limited in number, and it is possible that the earthwork has been levelled.
