Terrace walls immediately south-east of Widworthy Court. Terrace walls and parapet. 1830. Local stone rubble with granite ashlar detail and Bathstone ashlar parapet (parts rebuilt with concrete blocks). The rectangular terraced garden in front of Widworthy Court (q.v) is revetted with stone rubble with granite ashlar blocks standing proud with chamfered edges. The parapet is Bathstone ashlar with rounded coping. It is divided into bays by square section posts with pyramid caps. The original parapet bays contain rectangular panels defined by shallow channels. Most of the front end is an open balustrade, and each front corner is surmounted by a massive stone vase. On the north-east side there is a semi-circular projecting bay for a seat. On each corner large scroll-shaped finials (volutes reset from somewhere else) have been set on their sides.
