Early 19th century house, three storeys, symmetrical two-window range. On the ground floor a semicircular-arched reeded doorcase is flanked by slighly bowed bays. A plaque to the left of the door states that Keats resided here in 1818, but this is disputed.

Keats House. House. Early 19th century, altered 20th century. Painted stucco, slate roof. Double-depth plan. Exterior: three storeys; symmetrical two-window range. Twentieth century windows and door. A semicircular-arched reeded doorcase has roundels to the impost blocks, flanked on the ground floor by slighly bowed bays. 8/8-pane sash windows to the ground floor 6/6-panes to the upper floors. A plaque to the left of the door states that Keats resided here in 1818, but this is disputed. Interior: not inspected. One of a group of early 19th century properties in Northumberland Place.
