An earlier 19th century terrace of shops. 2 storeys. 2 windows each. Welsh slate roofs with bracketed projecting eaves. Stucco fronts. Slightly recessed sash windows with exposed boxing and glazing bars. 4 light shop windows with console-bracketed cornices. Round-arched recessed doorways with edge-roll mouldings; Numbers 28 and 29 with patterned fanlights; most with raised and fielded panelled doors. Carriage entrance to Chapel Lane at west end.
